high pitch vibration 25mph - 35mph

been looking into this some more and still cant find the cause of it

was changing the plugs at the weekend so was a good opportunity to investigate further
discovered one end of the radiator was just about handing on the mounts!, so sorted this
loads of stones in the air intake duct collector boxes
a large dead bee under the airbox
a few labels on cables i thought might be causing it, so removed
but even when i took bike up the road without any of the fairings, mudguard, tank cover etc still had the same vibration(btw fireblades sound awesome without the air intakes)
had new pads fitted, new tyres, checked discs and wheels earlier in year, made no difference

could CCT cause this do you think?

yeah
there were only a couple of cans i liked the look of
this being the only one i could really afford
although still not sure about the red ring inside the end can, am hoping it will fade in time :P

the sound it makes is addictive

How loud is loud? I am thinking of getting that one for the 636. Does the baffle quieten it down much?

that's a tough one to answer, obviously only comparison i have is my old standard can
at idle not huge amount of difference just a bit more bassy
at low revs its just nice and rumbly, I even get a bit of burble from it
obviously at higher revs both pitch and volume increase.
compared to before n standard can i couldn't hear the exhaust over the wind n engine, but with this is can defiantly hear it
missus reckons she could hear me coming from good way down the road, whereas before i would be on driveway before she heard me

but yes def quieter with the baffle

i had planned to measure it as would be good to do some track days, just not had a chance yet

Cool sounds just what I'm after :)

Got first service on Wednesday so will get one on order to fit after that.

komp

just to add very impressed with scorpions customer service too
i wasn't happy with the quality carbon infill panel that came with the blade exhaust
so sent em a wee email asking to exchange it
was expecting a call to arrange a date to swap them over, but today a nice new shiny panel turned up :D
